Thanks to the traditional millstone grounding used, the paprika is typically homogeneous in texture and is very fine. Depending on the pigment level, the paprika is bright fiery red or lighter red in color. The smell is intense, spicy and aromatic, similar to that of roasted vegetables as a result of the processes that take place in the paprika during drying. The flavor is typically sweet, reminiscent of ripe and roasted pumpkins and fresh garden plants, with a lingering, mild, pleasant aroma.

Wonderful to have real paprika again. Rubin is as good as any I have had from Hungary
Growing up with Hungarian parents, Mom cooked wonderful foods from her home. I learned to cook some of those dishes. In recent years I had trouble getting those flavors with my Szeged paprika. Then I noticed the new packaging stated ‘Hungarian Style ‘. Fortunately, I found authentic Paprika from Szeged! It arrived within 5 days. The aroma caused me to make chicken paprikas shortly afterwards. What a wonderful return to Mom’s flavor!
