Kalocsa sweet Hungarian paprika is not only the foundation of traditional Hungarian cuisine, but for many decades it has been the most well-known Hungarian product abroad, also known as Hungaricum.
This Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.) sweet Hungarian paprika powder contains 100% Hungarian peppers from the region Kalocsa. In this area, the harvesting is carried out by hand, followed by gentle drying and sorting, and then grounding and packaging. As in the case of all Hungaricums, the steps must be strictly monitored, from the sowing of the seeds to the distribution of the final product. Only peppers cultivated in the area may be used in the production of Kalocsa paprika powders, since its outstanding quality comes from its genetic basis that has been developed for over a century. This is what gives this paprika its distinctive taste, flavor and color.

Oh my God what a difference, heaven and earth I have never tasted such a delicious paprika in my life. It's got the texture the beautiful color and the taste is out of this world no wonder Hungarians are known for the paprika and I stand behind them 1000% I know people say it's not cheap but if you can afford it you won't regret it. I just love it I couldn't believe what a difference it makes in taste. Thank you Kalocsa for your efforts and hard work to make the Best paprika out there!!! From now on I will only buy this paprika.
